For those who played it when the time was right, they know what was it like. Williams: not the actor, the singer

How the current subject is music (one of my favorites topics), and I've already writen too much about Brazilian music, nothing better, in an english blog, talk about an english singer: Robbie Williams. And please, don't make confusion with the famous actor RobbIN Williams.
RobbIE was born in England, and his first experience with the success was with the first boy band of the Pop Music: Take That. After release some albuns, the band has separated, and Robbin decided to take a solo career, which has been succed since than. He's a very funny person, and he shows his humor in his songs and his videoclips. The most interesting thing in Robbie Williams songs is the subjects. He sings about comom topics, like the girls who will always love her boyfriend, or a song for his parents, the guy which has broken-up...but beside the writing, he writes in a very sincere way. Behind of all the happy guy, Robbie reveals trought his songs he's a very lonely person, and he misses a person to share his life. He has already had some dates, but any one lasted more than six months.
On one of the most famous song of Robbie and one of my favorites, he writes about the end of a relationship in a very specific way: his last date. He write about all the pain and the why that the date has finished.

Higurashi no Naku koro ni

There's an anime called Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. In Portuguese means "quando as cigarras chorarem". For those who doesn't know what is an anime, it is aJapanese cartoon. This anime is in episodes in series. In this anime you're going to find blood, gore, slaughter and torture. It is extremely violent for an anime. That's why I think the Japaneses have grown up. The gender of this anime is drama, comedy, thriller, mystery, horror and a little of comedy. This anime consists in 26 episodes in the first season. After you've done watching it, there's an OVA (Original Video Animation). It's kind of a special episode. An episode that is out of the serie. And finally after it, there's the second season which the name is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai. Kai means "solution". Well, this one contains 24 episodes.
OK. Now I'm going to tell you how this anime works:
Originally, an anime is made up after developing the mangas. For those who doesn't know what is a manga, it is a Japanese 'gibi'. Those stories in squares in magazines and stuff. I don't know the right word, so I think that's alright. So, originally this first season was supposed to have 8 chapters. But only 6 were animated. That's the reason for them to create the second season. And of course that in this second one is not only the 2 chapters. There are more new chapters in this one.
Now, talking about the first season, as I told you before, there's 6 chapters. A chapter fills the blank spaces of other chapters. I mean, what hasn't been explained in a chapter, explains in other. The second season is still in exibition. Currently, it's in the 15th episode.
Oh! One more thing, for those who want to watch it, they can count on me! ^_^\/

My favorite type of musics..

Hmm..
I'm very eclectic, but obvious, I dislike some kinds of music.
I really like rock, mpb, hip hop, pop and so on..
Ohh I've almost forgotten, I love PSY! The "eletronic" is the best of all! :D However, that thing we call COUNTRY is terrible.! Reggae is another great style, it's also good to relax and "traveeeel"!
I don't listen to music too much 'cause I don't have a long free time, although when I'm sat in front of the pc I usually listen to a loud music...
My musics preferences goes from Paralamas until Guns'n'Roses, Shakira, Akon, Caetano Veloso..

Travel Through Satolep Sambatown

How I've promissed in my last post, here is my post about the Vitor Ramil & Marcos Suzano's Last Concert here in Pelotas. I only have two words to describe the concert: I'm speachless.
It's amazing how only two musics from distint regions and with diferent inspirations can create songs full of sounds, giving to you the ideia that has a whole band with 70 musicians upon the stage!
Vitor and his two guitars made us travel trough his esthetics of the cold, creating songs and milongas that you couldn't imagine. Suzano was enclosed of apparels that looked like a percussion army. All the crowd in the theater was shoked.
The whole concert has lasted one hour and a half, finishing with a new-samba-version from Vitor's famous song: Jokin.
Satolep Sambatown, without any doubt, is one of the best albuns already made, bringing to the Brazilian music a new way to see the future: the mixing.

Mr. Bean's Holiday

Unplugged and another mixing

Hei folks! Keeping my addiction on Unpluggeds, I'm praticly in heaven with the new unplugged MTV. Now, the MTV turned its eyes back to the really brazilian music and decided to give a present to the old and new generations with Paulinho da Viola Unplugged MTV. Full of musics released since 1964, Paulinho gives a new hope to the samba, making a very beautiful album, giving new harmonies and melodies to his old songs. The Unplugged was released last Sunday, and you already can find the album and the DVD at the best stores (now you can understand Studio CDs).
Anyway, to give more pleasure to our ears, probably everybody have already heard about the Estudio Coca-Cola, a great iniciative to make new mixes, getting together completly diferent kinds of music. The first experiences has been made putting together Skank and Nação Zumbi, where the Pop from BH go from the mud to the caos. Babado Novo puted a feminine touch to the fast songs of CPM 22. The Suth Reggae from Armandinho get along with the emo music of NxZero. Cachorro Grande and Nando Reis get together to say that the world is good, Sebastian. The girls get they space when Pitty and Negra Li flick throw the rock and rap. And to close, the great Lenine made Alzira and her tower dance with Marcelo D2.
The interesting thing on this project is the regiona versions. Specialy when we talk about Rio Grande do Sul, where the music is even more present in our lives, Nenhum de Nós and Papas da Lingua played together in the only chance to see Camila in a white little shirt. And wait for next Wednesday, when you'll have a special abstract of my visit to Satolep Sambatown.

Something interesting for me is the webpage of the Simpsons Movie, is very funny because you can create yourselves personages. I really like do it. In this webpage have some faces (mouth, nose, eyes, ears, hair, whatever), although have a problem (for me is a problem) in the webpage doesn’t have many options of clothes to dress your personages. Well another problem is that this site requires ‘adobe flash player’, but this program is very fast to download.
